July Fourth, also known as Independence Day, is the day in 1776 when the 13 colonies were officially free from British rule thanks to the handy document known as The Declaration of Independence — knowledge bomb, ya’ll. And ever since the beginning the day has been marked with parades, readings of the Declaration, fireworks and boozy celebrations!
Here are 13 patriotic cocktails (in honor of the original colonies) from around the web that embody our nation’s pride in red, white, blue, stars and stripes fashion. Cheers, America!
